How to crochet a medium size heart

How to crochet a medium size heart

Crochet heart appliques are charming and versatile embellishments that can add a touch of handmade love to a variety of projects. Perfect for Valentine's Day gifts, they can also be used to decorate clothing, accessories, and home décor items. Sew them onto hats, bags, and scarves to create personalized and heartfelt accents. Use them in scrapbooking or card-making to convey sweet sentiments, or attach them to pillows and blankets for a cozy, romantic touch. The possibilities are endless with these delightful crochet hearts!

You can use any size hook and yarn to create your crochet heart applique, and the size will vary accordingly. For this pattern, I used a 3.00 mm hook and yarn weight 2, resulting in a heart that measures approximately 13 x 10 cm.
